Richard A. Dillio (RAD) is a Senior Vice President at New Paradigm Strategy Group, and has extensive experience in research, survey work, consumer insights, and communications.
After a six year stint in the US Navy, RAD earned degrees from the University of Rochester and the Rochester Institute of Technology, with the latter focusing on research methods and surveying. He studies a variety of consumer groups, in particular video gamers and their interactions with social media, retail, and politics. He has built nationally-recognized research programs for the video game industry in the US, and he continues to provide data and insights to the largest tech companies and video game publishers in the world. He brings to NPSG his unique experiences in the trade association world, which run the gamut from business development, industry reputation management, and consumer-facing programs.
In between Washington, DC and the US Navy, RAD has worked variously as a bowling alley mechanic, a research assistant, a writer, an oil terminal operator, and a union shop steward. His academic work has appeared in First Amendment Studies, and his writing has been published by the War Writer’s Campaign.
