Tom McMahon Co-Founder and Partner

Tom McMahon has over 25 years of experience in politics—providing strategic advice, managing campaigns, overseeing successful fundraising operations, and coordinating advocacy efforts at the federal, state, and local level.

From 2005 to 2009, Tom served as Executive Director of the Democratic National Committee. There he was one of the principal architects of the ground-breaking “50-state strategy” and oversaw the creation and implementation of social media peer-to-peer platforms that modernized and transformed the Democratic Party, resulting in historic electoral gains in both 2006 and 2008 and laying the groundwork for President Obama’s historic win in 2008.

Tom continues to provide ongoing strategic advice to international entities throughout Europe, Australia, and Canada on building party infrastructure and integrating digital media and technology into their existing operations.

Prior to his tenure at the DNC, Tom served as Deputy Campaign Manager for Howard Dean’s groundbreaking presidential bid that first developed and deployed many of the online tactics and strategies utilized in nearly every campaign today.
